Bhilai (Dewangan Times): The demise of Shri Vijay Kumar Saraf, Council Member of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE), Bhilai Chapter, and a distinguished Mining and Industrial Engineer, is an irreparable loss to the Institution as well as to the engineering fraternity. The Bhilai Chapter paid heartfelt tributes to the departed soul and gratefully acknowledged his outstanding contributions.
Shri K. Patel, Chairman; Ghanshyam Kumar Dewangan, Vice Chairman; Avanish Dubey, Secretary; Vivek Gupta, Treasurer; H. K. Desai, Ex-Chairman; Shri V. K. Arora, Former CEO of Bhilai Steel Plant; Shri L. K. Vaidyanathan, Former General Manager, along with all office bearers, Council Members, and members of the Bhilai Chapter, expressed profound grief over his demise. They stated that Shri Saraf's passing is an irreparable loss to both the Institution and the engineering community, and that his invaluable contributions will always be remembered with deep respect and gratitude.
Shri Saraf was a highly accomplished, experienced, and widely respected engineer. Besides rendering distinguished services in the fields of Mining and Industrial Engineering, he played a significant role in advancing the objectives and activities of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, Bhilai Chapter. His professional excellence, unwavering dedication, simplicity, and commitment to the Institution will continue to inspire generations of engineers.
In its condolence message, the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering (IIIE), Bhilai Chapter conveyed its heartfelt sympathies to his son, Shri Aditya Saraf, and the bereaved family. The Institution prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and to bestow strength and courage upon the family to bear this irreparable loss.
